Chicago Road Trip

Alright, Midwest Sharks fans! The first road trip opportunity of the year comes early, with a Wednesday, October 10 date at the United Center facing the Chicago Blackhawks.

If you are a Shark fan living in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, or even some parts of Missouri or Kentucky, it’s a reasonable drive for a game. Tickets are reasonably easy to get, too.

You’ll be able to find me in Section 102, Row 11. I’ll be wearing my 2006-07 white road “Cheechoo” jersey. If you go, be sure to look for me! We’ll have a beverage together and toast a San Jose victory!

I’m a San Jose Sharks fan… In central Indiana! I obviously can’t go to every game at the HP Pavillion, but I can go to games in Columbus, Nashville, St. Louis, Chicago, and Detroit- all in 4 hours driving or less!

I do go to the games in these places, and I’m always pleasantly surprised to see as many Sharks jerseys as I do.

It occurred to me to set up this blog as a way for displaced Sharks fans to have a forum, but also to coordinate attendance at games in the Midwest.

So, if you’re a Midwest Sharks fan as I am, mark this page and visit for chatter about our team, and even plan a trip to see the Sharks take yet another game- or playoff series- from the Preds!
